The Ark Lodge offers four viewing areas for observing wildlife activity at the waterhole and saltlick in Aberdare National Park. This nature-focused accommodation features a well-stocked library with books on flora, fauna, and regional history.

Cabin-Style Accommodations

Rooms at Noah Ark are modeled after cabins with carpeted floors and private bathrooms equipped with showers and free toiletries. The Ark Lodge provides twin rooms with two beds and double rooms with one bed, each featuring wardrobes.

Dining and Drinks

The restaurant offers excellent cuisine for breakfast and dinner, served as either buffet or set menu depending on guest numbers. Guests can enjoy a drink from the well-stocked bar with various wines and liqueurs, or arrange lunch at Noah Ark with prior notice.

Wildlife and Recreation

Visitors can observe elephants, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, and other wildlife from four viewing decks with balconies and lounges, including a ground-level bunker. The Ark has facilities for horseback riding, health club relaxation, swimming, and gym exercise at the Aberdare Country Club.

Located in Aberdare National Park with altitudes ranging from 7000 to 4.3 m above sea level, the lodge is 75 km from Nanyuki. Guests can explore the park through various guided bush walks on well-developed trails and visit the nearby Solio Sanctuary, home to both white and black rhinos.

Very nice Animal Viewing
